weekend update...

I think I'm tired of driving and traveling from this weekend. That's the big announcement; sorry to those who thought the big announcement was that I discovered the fun in fundamentalist dogma.

Friday night we took the youth from church tubing at Perfect North. It was...well...freakin' awesome! I think I went don ten or twelve times during the two hours we were there and I swear we hit 70 going down one of the tracks. Seriously. I also had the experience of my hair looking quite crazy and frozen from the snow that got in it. That was...interesting?

I got back home around five in the morning and got a couple of hours of sleep before work. Then, Sunday, I traveled down to Nash-vegas to have Christmas with some of my mom's family. It was small this year...only thirty-five people (I have like twenty-eight cousins on my mom's side--and no, I'm not Greek!). Finished up there, took Amy around Nashville and took the trek back home to the 'ville.

I think I've driven more this weekend than I've slept...I'm sure that can't be good.

I'll leave you with this link, though. Tony Jones, the National Director for Emergent Village was in my neck of the woods doing a lecture at Boyce College and Southern Seminary. Check out the coverage of his visit here.

until Christ is formed in us...
