a disciple's refuge is anywhere it needs to be. It doesn't have to be in a church building or in the quietest spot in our home. a disciple's refuge is anywhere where one can be alone with their Savior and on top of this mountain in Denali National Park is pretty secluded. More than all, though we need to realize and remember that Christ is our refuge (Psalm 46). If we attempt to talk refuge in anything else, we will succumb to the storms of life, and at the bottom of the depths, we will cry out to our Father. He WILL hear us, and rescue us from the deep. This is not because of anything we can do, but because He is loving and faithful.

"[Christ] is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way, though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling." Psalm 46:1-3, ESV
