the new crib...

No, Amy's not pregnant. (Gosh, stop pressuring us!) We are moving to Jeffersonville, IN and getting a new "crib" (or in non-MTV/street language "a place to live"). We've been in our current rental house for a year and a half and are sooo looking forward to moving. The house and cheap rent have been a blessing, but the floor plan is horrible and high ceilings coupled with little or no insulation means high heating bills, yet still cold winters. Plus, both of us love entertaining and the current abode does not lend itself well to that endeavor.

The new place, though, is perfect for exercising our gift of hospitality! With an open floor plan, we can have more people over in a more comfortable environment. We considered renting another house or even purchasing, but the luxury we will have at Orchard Hills apartments would cost an arm, leg and a right pinkie toe in a house. We are planning on moving on March 15th at 9AM if anyone is bored and wants to help us move. Almost all of our stuff is packed, so we hope to have everything into the new place by 11AM so we can all enjoy a great (and free) lunch of pizza and soda!

Here are some pictures of the model apartment we looked at. According to Amy, the best part of the apartment isn't even in the photographs: a dishwasher.

Once again, if anyone wants to help us move, we're starting at 9AM on March 15th.

I guess it was specifically the left leg that was required since the left pinkie toe would be rendered fairly useless without it.
